OUR MISSION

California Christian University has seen a tremendous educational need, and has decided to do something about it. If we need to be pioneers, then so be it, but we can no longer stand on the sidelines and see this need not corrected.

It is a fact that in several of our cultures, our people have been passed by. They have not been able to afford or receive an education. In many cases, even a High School education seems out of their grasp.

What happens is that good people grow older realizing that they will be forever hampered because they lack their education and it's validation by a degree. Now, however, they have family responsibilities and cannot afford to take 4-7 years off, to receive their education. Our society does not respond. Traditional education institutions remain traditional, and a hopeless cycle ensues. Thus, the need for a non traditional approach by CCU called, Accelerated Education. Now, by using weekend Seminars, homework and internet studies, people can lift themselves from the cycle of despair into the hope of victory.

CCU is so committed to this process that we have even acquired and begun to develop our own standard setting, accrediting organization. Someone has to set the standard and CCU has decided to be that someone!
